KIDZONE is the children's ministry of Community Life Church.

Our Mission:

“Equipping Kids to Know who God is, Grow closer to Him, and Show His love with others.”

For you created my inmost being; you knit me together in my mother’s womb.
I praise you because I am fearfully and wonderfully made…

Psalm 139:13-14

What to Expect:

When you arrive, please bring your child to the check-in table in the Children's Wing and fill out a Welcome Card with any special instructions and a contact phone number - in case of emergency.  This information goes into our database and onto a name tag for your child.  Our greeters will take you to your child's class and introduce you to the teacher.  Kid's Zone Worship begins at 10:45am, but come early for some fun and fellowship beforehand!!

  • Nursery: Babies, age 0 - 2 years, are cared for by our loving and experienced staff. Each child will be fed, changed and cared for while you are away. Special instructions? No problem, just write them down on the white board before you leave.
  • Pre-K and Kinder: Potty-trained 2-year-olds are invited to join the Pre-K room, where they will experience Jesus and His love for them through music, crafts and creative lessons from talented teachers and caring helpers.
  • Elementary Children's Church: Through worship, led by peers, interactive and visual Bible lessons, drama, crafts, and games, 1st-5th grade children will learn how to develop godly character and how to follows Christ.

Mother's Day Out (or MDO for short) is a "Drop-In, Pay-As-You-Visit" Childcare co-operated by Community Life and Christ Armenian Church every Tuesday and Thursday morning (except for holidays).

MDO is designed to help mothers, fathers, or any stay-home caretaker of young children who need the occasional break to run errands, take a nap, meet with a friend, or simply rest! Your children will be attended to in age-appropriate classrooms where they will enjoy stories, crafts, singing, snack time, creative expression, and outside play and games.

Parents provide the children with a lunch, a spare pair of clothes, diapers, wipes, and bottles (if needed).

The cost is $35 for one child, $25 for a second child, and $10 any additional siblings.

Pay with cash or with a check on the day that you choose to bring your child or children. No long-term commitment is required. Some parents use this service once a month, while some use it every Tuesday or Thursday. You don’t pay unless you sign up to come. For cancellation, you can call in and no fee will be charged.

Spots are available on a first-come first-serve basis.  Reservations are required in order to participate in the program at least 24 hours in advance.  Reservations can be made any one of three ways:

1. At the check in/out counter
2. By phone at 818-249-5832 (leave message if necessary)
3. By emailing

AWANA is a nondenominational youth ministry committed to "reaching boys and girls with the gospel of Christ and training them to serve Him." The heartbeat of AWANA is reaching children around the world with the good news that Jesus Christ loves them and can save them from sin. Each week, more than one million boys and girls in over 110 countries attend AWANA clubs where they play games, memorize Bible verses and listen to Bible stories. Children and youth have fun while being taught the Word of God.

The weekly AWANA clubs all function basically the same way. A 90-minute club session features three segments: In "Game Time," boys and girls play games on the unique AWANA game square. In "Handbook Time," children work through age-appropriate handbooks memorizing Bible verses and doing activities. They earn awards based on their work. During the final segment, "Council Time," children learn Bible stories and lessons based on Christian principles.

Our club gives priority to the Bible as the Word of God. The vital scripture verses on Salvation and Christian growth are the heart of all AWANA achievements.

Do your best to present yourself to God as one approved,

a worker who does not need to be ashamed and who

correctly handles the word of truth.
